Eric Garner’s Siblings Share New Song “I Can’t Breathe”

July 17 marks the two-year anniversary of Garner’s death.

In the wake of this week's gut-wrenching police killings and the slaying of five police officers, music has provided a comforting salve. Beyoncé performed Lemonade highlight "Freedom" acapella, while Miguel and Jay Z dropped expressive, new tracks.

Now they've been joined by Ellisha and Steven Flagg, the siblings of the late Eric Garner, who in 2014 died while being held in a chokehold by police officers on Staten Island. The song, entitled "I Can't Breathe," reflect Garner's final words as he struggled to get free of the officers' grip.
