Lil Yachty released his Summer Songs 2 project last night, and the Atlanta rapper addressed a recent freestyle that he did for Ebro Darden on a song called "For Hot 97." Ebro was unimpressed with new record, and referred to Lil Yachty as a "high school ass rapper" on air.
Yachty called into Hot 97 later in the day to address Ebro, and the song, explaining that it wasn't a diss but rather a demonstration of his rap skills. "I feel like you got offended for the wrong idea," Yachty told Ebro. "It was to show what's good. And that shit is hard, bro." Despite the disagreement, the two ended the conversation on civil terms.
