Rihanna pulled a live date in France following the July 14 attack on Nice. She was due to play in the city the night after the attack. In her show at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon on Tuesday, July 19, she paid tribute to those who lost their lives when a cargo truck was driven deliberately into crowds celebrating Bastille Day. 84 people died in the attack with more than 300 injured.

Speaking to fans before she played "Diamonds" in Lyon, Rihanna said, "This next song I want to dedicate to the people of Nice who suffered. People who have been traumatized, victims and their families." The stage remained lit up in the red, blue, and white of the French flag throughout. Watch the performance above.
