Since his cancer diagnosis, and a successful surgery that removed the tumor in his kidney, Boosie Badazz has gotten back to the themes in his music that made him a Southern street icon: struggle, loss, and pain. On his newest offering, "Fly Away," the Baton Rouge rapper contemplates an escape from personal troubles and larger societal injustices. Black kids they can't even have pop guns (You know why?)/ Police say they look like shotguns and choppers, Boosie raps, before lamenting the death of Alton Sterling. Listen to "Fly Away" below.
