New York rapper and singer Dai Burger's December 2015 track, "My Lil Dance," is a sexy feel yourself jam backed by sparse, twinkling beats. Now the song's got a remix from grime and hip-hop producer and Dai's frequent collaborator Darq E Freaker — the first off Dai's forthcoming remix EP. He told The FADER over email that he put a little magic into it. "[I] added some mythological enchantments to turn ['My Lil Dance'] from a request into a denim blue, faded purple Pan's Labyrinth situation."
Last week, the song got an amazing video in which she formed a girl group made up of five different Dai aliases. "'My Lil Dance' is here and and it's fulfilling all your flavorful fantasies," said Dai Burger about the video. "Pick a Babe! Because here with the direction of Sean Frank and Chicken[much] on song production, I was able to turn myself into a group of Hypnotic Bubbly Baddies, and show the onlookers what that 'lil' dance' really be like!"
