Kanye West’s Cruel Winter Will Be Out Early Next Year, Says Travis Scott

In a new interview with Hot 97, Scott called it “the best album.”

Travis Scott discussed Cruel Winter, the upcoming release from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, in a new Hot 97 interview spotted by Pitchfork. According to Scott, who is executive producing the album, they have "a handful of songs" already selected, and are pushing for an early 2017 release. He also claimed every artist from the G.O.O.D. Music roster will make an appearance on the album.

"One thing I'm gonna say about this project is it's gonna be very youthful," he revealed. "Straight to the point, like the illest ever, man, it's the best album." When asked for a definition of "youthful," Scott expanded: "The kids who are not on the radio all the time but still have the clubs going crazy. That's who this album is for."
