Kim Kardashian took out a full page in the New York Times on Sunday to express her opposition to an advert in the Wall Street Journal earlier this year. Kardashian hit back at Fact Check Armenia, a group that denies the deaths of 1.5m Armenians in 1915 should be classified as a "genocide."

Kardashian's ad, published in conjunction with the Armenian Eductional Foundation, saw her take aim at the WSJ and Fact Check Armenia. In it she stated that “Money talks, and right now it’s talking crap.” She also added that the paper’s decision to run the advert in April was “reckless” and “morally irresponsible," arguing that the publication was “spreading lies.” The WSJ previously defended the ad in a statement issued in April.

Kim Kardashian has spoken out on the subject of the Armenian genocide in the past, and first opposed the Wall Street Journal advert when it ran five months ago. She and sister Khloe, alongside Kanye West, also marked the 100-year anniversary of the genocide with a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex near the capital Yerevan last year.
