In the past year or so, the Los Angeles-based WEDIDIT collective has been making large leaps in the fashion world; releasing new drops with the regularity of a non-merch brand, and now, having their clothes sold at avant-garde boutique Opening Ceremony. Their latest lookbook features rapper Adamn Killa and Killavesi modeling the collection’s West Coast, grunge-inflected take on urban streetwear.

The lookbook was masterminded by Shlohmo and Nick Melons, who explained they "wanted to recreate the classic mall glamour shot with the soft focus lens and Ferrari backdrops. Most of the malls and glamour shot studios specialize in shooting weird portraits of newborn babies next to wheelbarrows or some shit and now everything looks super digital and wack." Melons eventually "found one place in Leimart Park that doesn't have a website and we shot there" using a rigged-up flash and something called a Scene Machine. The results are affectionately nostalgic but hyper-modern, all while making us crave the clothes.
