SiR thinks he's found The One. I look in your eyes and I get lost/ Your mama raised you right, went and made you priceless, he sings to his lover in the new video for "Queen," which premieres on The FADER today. The Inglewood, California native has lent his songwriting abilities to Anita Baker, Jill Scott, and more, but he struck out on his own in 2015 with the solo project, Seven Sundays. On "Queen," the 29-year-old vocalist croons about real love over a dusty drum loop, hinting at past baggage for both parties without ever explicitly naming it.

"'Queen" was meant to uplift a woman's spirit," SiR told The FADER over email. "Women have gotten so used to being called bitches in music, I thought I should make a song that did the exact opposite. I wrote it after listening to the radio and hearing what women were being subjected to listen to. Felt like positivity would be a good change of pace.”

"Queen" is taken from SiR's Her EP, which is due out on Thursday. Find the full tracklist for the project below, and watch the video for the new song above.
