A Bandcamp page surfaced today for Arthur Russell, featuring a selection of albums from the late cult hero musician to stream and buy. No one's discography is more varied than Russell's, and the selection available here collects a solid sampling of the full-length projects released—almost exclusively posthumously—by Audika Records.
Among other highlights, the collection includes his cello noise masterpiece World of Echo, last year's Corn, and lesser known gems like First Thought, Best Thought, which collects performances of his experimental Instrumentals compositions.
Earlier this year, The New York Times announced that the New York Public Library would take on the task of digitizing a huge archive of unreleased music from Russell's estate. For now, you can hear plenty of good things here.
