On his new single, "I'm Paid," confident California rapper Mayzin makes it clear that there's no need to flash his cash. Although he repeats the phrase, "I'm paid" over and over, he's all about staying low and making sure that he gets a chance at fame. Instead of spending his time on being frivolous with his money, he boasts that he wants to save to send his kids to college.

Over email, Mayzin told The FADER, "This song speaks on the fact that you don’t need to flex on everyone to show that your successful or making money. I don’t need the flashy car or clothes but I’m still getting paid to support my family and my life."
