The New York-based group reveals a sexy single and a slinky video — plus their mini tour with Helado Negro starts tonight.

Tonight, New York-based group Buscabulla is heading out on tour with experimental artist Helado Negro. They're also prepping their second EP, the first single for which is premiering today on The FADER. The very slinky "Tártaro" was inspired by salsa erótica, and its accompanying video, starring Buscabulla's Raquel Berrios, was filmed in a legendary sex motel — no wonder "Tártaro" and its video make me want to dance in my undies.

"Tártaro is the nickname of the late salsero and Puerto Rican cult figure Frankie Ruiz, also known as the father of salsa erótica (or erotic salsa, a very popular genre in the '80s)," Berrios wrote in a note to The FADER. "The song is a love letter to him, referencing some of his most famous lyrics, many of them about sex motels, extramarital affairs and passionate encounters. The video, which we self-directed, is set at the most famous sex motel in Puerto Rico, Hotel OK, where I went to find inspiration to write this song and channel Ruiz's 'erotic' spirit.

"Filming the video was crazy. The motel has a very strict two person policy, so we basically smuggled our cinematographer in the trunk two nights in a row, while encountering very sticky situations that I won't go into detail about.” Watch above.
