Electronic musicians from around the world have rallied around Fabric to help the London club raise money in its ongoing fight against closure. The #SaveFabric compilation features 111 tracks from artists and producers who have played the London club over the years, with all funds going towards legal costs and other expenses.
Fabric has seen a massive outpouring of support from fans and musicians since the announcement that the venue had been shut down was made in September. The London club was originally forced to close when its license to operate was revoked by Islington Council, following a voluntary shutdown after the drug-related deaths of two patrons in August. Their appeal is ongoing.
Contributing to the massive collection are heavy hitters like Machinedrum, Clams Casino, Skream, and dBridge, plus over 100 artists from around the world. Parts of the album are available to stream via Bandcamp below and the full thing can be downloaded from iTunes and Fabric's store.
