What brought you out today?
What brought me out to vote today was my duty as a citizen to do that. My parents are from a third world country and that’s something they can't do there. It’s a communist country so the fact that we’re allowed to vote means a lot to me.
What issue specifically brought you out to vote?
Honestly, Trump. It’s terrible [laughs]. I had to make sure I vote, do my job, make sure he does not win.

What brought you out today?
Keeping democracy alive.
What issue specifically brought you out to vote?
Keeping trump out of office definitely but a lot of it was about the referendums for transportation funding.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote today?
Important to vote bc it’s a power we have in a republic/democratic society. we are a democracy but we’re still a republic. that’s important for people to know. I think we have to push for government that protects clean air, protects the environment, protects minorities, and try to prevent war in foreign policy, try to use diplomacy instead of going to war as our foreign policy.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote today?
I came out to vote because my ancestors fought for us to have the freedom of speech. It’s not about Democrats or Republicans right now, it’s because I have the freedom of speech that I came out to vote because i want to exercise that right.
We need to make sure that we elect the right person, a lot is going on right now with police brutality. All the world's issues require that we elect the right person and make sure everyone comes out to vote.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote today?
I recently became a U.S. citizen. Every vote in this election matters and Im really excited to have an opportunity to be a part of the voting process in the United States. The main issue that brought me out to vote is that I want to make sure Donal J. Trump is elected to be the 45th President of the United Sates of America. The main reason I'm voting for Donald Trump is the issue of Immigration. It took me nine long years, and I went through a limiting, restrictive, tedious, expensive process the right way to become an American citizen, so Im voting for Donald J. Trump.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote today?
I came out to vote because we have the right to vote. This is my first time voting. Global warming is a big factor, and if we can work about helping the environment and moving as a society into more growth, and everybody coming together as one, thats what I vote for.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote today?
This is one of the most important elections I’ve ever participated in in my life. It’s going to effect a lot of the people that I care about, a lot of the people that share the same status as me in terms of identity. I identify as genderqueer, non-binary, I’m a man of color, African American, and I also identify as pansexual. A lot of what Trump represents is continued oppression and worsened conditions for people like me.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote today?
Well originally I was a Bernie Sanders supporter, and it took a lot of thought and consideration. I ended up voting against Trump. It wasn’t that I wanted to vote for Hillary, it was more that I don’t want Trump in office.
For the State amendments, it was important to me that question two on marijuana was passed because a lot of people are unjustly prosecuted for marijuana use. This is actually my first year voting, I voted in the primary earlier this year.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote?
I vote every time. I never miss. The first time I voted was to cast my vote for John F. Kennedy in 1960.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote?
I mean, it's definitely not foreign policy, because I think Hillary Clinton is a problem as far as foreign policy, but I think the issue that brought me out is immigration. Most of all, I think this is a country that's been built by immigrants and their contribution is really central and I think Hillary does grasp that. I also think she's made an effort to put people on her economic policy — at least her election term economic policy committee — that are concerned about redistributing wealth and giving more resources back to working families and that's really important.

What issue specifically brought you out to vote?
Our future for young people is important, jobs in this country is important, and also Donald Trump becoming our president is scary so all those things brought me out to vote.
