2Pac Collaborator Big Syke Has Died At 48

The Inglewood, California native was an original member of The Outlawz and was featured on some of Pac’s greatest hits.

Big Syke, who collaborated frequently with 2Pac and was an original member of The Outlawz, has passed away at the age of 48, TMZ reports. Syke, real name Tyruss Himes, was found at his home in Hawthorne, California on Monday night after police and the L.A. County Coroner arrived on the scene. Big Syke is believed to have died from natural causes, though the coroner has not yet completed an autopsy. According to TMZ, the rapper had a history of heart issues and obesity.

The Inglewood, California native was best known for his guest verses on 2Pac's "All Eyez On Me," "Picture Me Rolling," and "Check out Time." Big Syke was one of the original members of The Outlawz and went under the monikers Moozaliny, or Mussolini during his period with the group. As a solo artist, he released four studio albums, most recently 2002's Big Syke on Rap-A-Lot.
