Matthewdavid Recruits Mnsdgn For EP Benefitting Oakland Fire Victims

Matthewdavid, producer and label boss over at Leaving Records, has dropped off a new collection of "new age sound collage", A Meditation on Events in 2016. Billed to his ambient project, Matthewdavid's Mindflight, the cassette release gathers four expansive tracks, recorded with collaborators Mndsgn, Dntel, and Diva at different points over the last two years.

For the release, Matthewdavid is taking the project's title literally, and donating all proceeds from sales to victims of one of 2016's more recent tragedies, the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland. Listen below and cop here.
