When Drake headlined Madison Square Garden back in August he called on rising New York rapper A Boogie to open for him. Speaking to Rap-Up in a new interview, A Boogie revealed that he learned about the performance on the day of the show, as well as dropping off news of an upcoming collab with The 6 God.

“Of course I said yeah [but] I wasn’t really all the way prepared because I only had like an eight-hour notice," he said of the MSG date. Speaking about the collaboration, he added, “Y’all see a collaboration, hopefully, if not the end of this year then next year for sure,”

Elsewhere in the interview Boogie talked about meeting Jay Z and also revealed that he's working on an EP with Zaytoven. "It’s in the making. I got a couple of features right now with Young Scooter, got one with Bibby coming out. The mixtape will be called Artoven. I’m taking my name, Artist, and I’m taking Zaytoven and putting it together. Artoven."
