As has been his tradition for the past eight years, Chief White House Photographer Peter Souza has shared his annual Year In Photographs collection, chronicling the final 365 days of Barack Obama's tenure as President of the United States. The collection features images taken from everywhere from the South Lawn of the White House to Laos.

"There are some historic moments included but mostly I was looking for behind-the-scenes moments that give people a more personal look at the President and First Lady. And I’ve included a few that I thought were just cool photos," Souza wrote in his Medium post along with the photos. All the images were taken by Souza or a White House photographer on his staff.
