Almost a half decade removed from the GBE glory days, Young Chop is still active, having launched a handful of solo projects, showcasing his own vocals over polished production. His latest tape, Let Em Know Chop, dropped today.

Over 13 tracks, the tape showcases Chop's evolution. While there's still an occasional hint of the chaotic urgency of his early work, Chop tends to favor woozy, melodic soundscapes now, full of pretty keys and psychedelic synth pads. On most songs, he's AutoTune harmonizing with himself, with spitters like Snap Dogg and King 100 James providing the short bursts of energy.
