Are y'all spinning or am I?

As basically a Southern "Love Yourself" from the man known as the Drake of country music, Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road" is about as divisive as you'd expect. My hands-down favorite country critic wrote that it "sets a new low for this … interloping pop star who would fuck off the entire 90 year history of country music if it meant getting a hit in a format where he not only doesn’t belong. … And his haircuts suck."

Also to be expected for such a conversation-starter: the song is No. 1 on the country charts.

And now, in the sort of move that can only make Sam Hunt more controversial, Mr. Collipark — the legendary producer of the “Whisper Song,” "Ms. New Booty," and the first man to sign Soulja Boy — has unofficially created what he’s calling a #countrytwerkmusic remix of "Body Like a Back Road." Was any of this necessary? Whatever, it's Friday — could it sound any better?
