Nearing the halfway point of his world tour in support of his new album Drunk, bassist, producer, and singer Thundercat played a sold out show at New York City's Irving Plaza on Friday, March 3. The show featured his frequent collaborator and sometimes inspiration, illustrator and comedian Zack Fox, as its scheduled opener, but a few unexpected guests were on hand to grace the stage as well.

First, midway through the set, producer and multi-instrumentalist Robert Glasper took over keyboard duties. Later, Glasper transitioned to the drums as he and Thundercat provided musical backing for a candid appearance by Dave Chappelle.
