Women of different faiths and backgrounds came together at 4 p.m. and held hands for five minutes of silence. The vigil was organized by Women's March On London organizers, as a "Women's Act of Solidarity."

“That man wanted to divide us, so by joining hands we are literally doing the opposite of what he wanted," attendee Kerena Sheath, told The Guardian. “It was something beautiful to come out of something so hideous.”
