Two adults are dead and two students are in critical condition after a shooting at an elementary school in San Bernadino, California, ABC News reports.
San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan wrote on Twitter that the deceased — one woman who was fatally shot and a man died of a self-inflected gunshot wound — were found inside a classroom at North Park Elementary School. Burguan added that the shooting appeared to be a murder-suicide and that two students were injured and transported to local hospitals. They are both in critical condition, ABC reports.
The school is currently on lockdown, San Bernardino City Schools Communications Officer Maria Garcia told ABC News.Police are currently investigating the relationship between the two deceased, officials said.
