Drake's floaty and purely addictive "Passionfruit" has given us another mashup hit. Earlier this week, someone discovered the beauty of mashing together the track with Macka B's viral "Cucumber" video. Episode 41 of OVO Sound Radio brought us another "Passionfruit" mashup gem. This time with The Weeknd's "Secrets" from Starboy.
The mashup, fittingly titled "Secret Passionfruit" is as seductive as the name sounds. Though the origins of the mashup isn't very clear, it seems that the track first surfaced on the music forum site Kanye To The. The user who posted the track appears to also have a Soundcloud profile called Young Kippur. According to track's original thread on the forum site, the user posted the track for fun and, amazingly, it ended up getting picked up by Oliver El-Khatib, who played it during Saturday evening's episode of OVO Sound Radio.
Understandable since the mashup is truly a match made in Canadian heaven. Listen below.
