An EP of Prince's music will remain under a restraining order if Prince's estate agree to pay $1 million to prevent its release. The Deliverance EP first came out in April but was soon taken down at the behest of those in charge of the late icon's business affairs. Now, as Billboard reports, a judge in Minnesota has ordered the estate to pay a seven figure sum to keep things that way.

The federal judge extended a restraining order issued against engineer and collaborator George Ian Boxill in April, with the $1 million serving as a bond. The payment is due by 5 p.m. EST on May 12 and it will extend the restraining order until 11:59 p.m. on May 22.

Boxill compiled the EP following Prince's death. Title track "Deliverance" remained on sale after the initial restraining order and is still available at the time of publishing. In the original lawsuit, Prince's Estate claimed that Boxill had allegedly signed a confidentiality agreement stating that his work with Prince “would remain Prince’s sole and exclusive property.”
