Set in a glowing pink paradise, it's easy to get lost in Olawumi's visual for "Alone," — soulful and synthy, the Jersey artist's song is a letter to her first true love. Over the phone in her safe space, Olawumi is shown grappling with her hopes and fears: "Can we keep things real? / Cuz I don't ever wanna be alone again."

The 24-year old, who co-directed the video, says "Alone" has a lighter vibe than her other visuals: "I used to feel like a lot of the time my music was too sad, or too serious for a fun video, so I was excited to finally kick back and broadcast the other side of myself; the silly, colorful Olawumi." she told The FADER in an email.
