Los Angeles and Houston each have a distinct and celebrated car culture — "lowriders" in Southern California, "slabs" in the great state of Texas. On his new single "Swang N' Bang," Houston native Kirko Bangz pays tribute to his city's time-honored tradition of riding in style over an infectious G-funk production, combining the legacies of both regions for a summertime anthem.

"'Swang N Bang" is a part of the Houston culture," he explained to The FADER. You don't have to be rich to swang n' bang, it's more about the feeling when you in your ride. You feeling good, looking good, fresh cut, clean as hell, summertime sun shining, tops drop trunk popped. Whether it's sunny or gray we go'n ball n' parlay."
