Ibiye Camp's "Such a Fan" range photographed at London's V&A museum
Folaju Oyegbesan
Ibiye Camp is a London-based painter who transforms items of clothing into must-have statements, taking inspiration from fandom and selfie culture. Past designs have incorporated her uncanny paintings of FKA twigs, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Frida Kahlo, to name a few. One of her most striking items — a pair of jeans featuring Solange's face — was recently featured in Sampha's short film Process.
Currently, her shop is stocked full of summer essentials, including a range of swimsuits inspired by Sade, Rihanna, and the many faces of Beyoncé in Lemonade. For nostalgic British peeps, there's also a whole range of swimsuits, bandanas, and T-shirts inspired by U.K. garage collective So Solid Crew. Preview it all below, and shop here.
