Jeff Henriquez and Eli Lazare, who also painted a mural of Nas in Queensbridge, recreated a classic image of Prodigy showing off his "Mobb Deep" forearm tattoos. The mural can be seen on the side of Urban Upbound’s building at 13th Street and 40th Avenue

In a statement to DNAInfo, Henriquez and Lazare said they started the project "out of love and respect," after the rapper's death in June. "His deep and meaningful lyrics inspired and influenced many young rappers and followers."
