Beauty brand Glossier, known for their award-winning boy brow and dewy haloscope highlighter, is finally launching internationally. Despite global demand, the brand had previously remained firm on their mission to focus on nurturing their U.S. community. Back in 2015, Glossier posted an article on their blog, Into the Gloss, addressing how global expansion cannot be done hastily — think: language translations and product regulations.
But today, two years on, the brand has announced they will be serving customers in Canada by the end of July, the U.K. soon after that, and France in 2018. Whether they keep expanding remains to be seen, however, to maintain their cruelty-free philosophy, the brand vows to never ship to countries that require animal testing.
