The rapper was released from jail on a $500,000 bond after spending the night in jail. A magistrate judge ordered DMX to remain in the New York City area, except when cleared to perform elsewhere.

Upon leaving the U.S. District Court on Friday, the rapper told press that he had faith in his fans to keep him focused. “It’s allowed me to not be scared of the situation and face it head-on, you know what I’m saying," he said. “My life is in God’s hands.”
