Bay Area newcomer Garren Sean is here with "Finer Things," a new song to fix your rainy July. Even if your summer isn't getting off the ground like you hoped it would, your soundtrack should try and compensate for that. "Finer Things" is a sunny little vision off his debut album GARREN, LP, which is out July 28.

In an email to The FADER, Sean explained the meaning behind the song, which is that you should treasure the good things you have, especially hot beats.

"'Finer Things' is about enjoying the wave and spending money when you have it, but staying real at the same time," he said. "The story is being told to a significant other who is afraid that more success will start to change your idea of what's important in life. I made the beat a whole year before I wrote to it for my album. At first I approached it like it could be a hot rap song on somebody else's project, but ultimately I knew I needed to do my thing on it."
