What would your neighborhood look like if it was a song? Tokyo producer Emamouse rendered hers in sonic form on her new track "Wavy Under Viaduct." It's a jaunty joint, sending video game-esque audio blocks flying in a precarious yet delightful fashion.

"In a neighborhood in Tokyo called Kudanshita, a river flows, drawing beautiful ripples under the viaduct," Emamouse told The FADER. "Kudanshita looks as though it has been developed via SimCity. By synthesizing the images of those ripples, tangled viaducts and streets, I MIDI-fied a neighborhood."

Emamouse will perform at a new festival in Japan this month called INFRA. INFRA is a collaboration between Berlin's Creamcake and 3hd Festival and Japanese sound gallery EBM(T), and takes place in Tokyo this August 19-26 (see the flyer below). Emamouse will perform the closing party on August 26.
