Radio host and eccentric interviewer Nardwuar is approaching the 30-year anniversary of his radio show at CiTR, the University of B.C.'s radio station. According to the Toronto Metro, the host is celebrating by going on-air for 20 hours straight. The Canadian became infamous for his quirky interview style and in-depth knowledge of his interviewees.

In his 30 years, Nardwuar the Human Serviette has interviewed artists of all genres from Katy Perry to Jay Z, and late legends like Kurt Cobain. He’s also interviewed politicians like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and comedians like Eric Andre.

Nardwuar plans to fill the marathon show by playing a range of music and having guests call in to keep him awake. "CiTR 101.9 in Vancouver has quite a few DJs that have been on for 30 years or more, so i just feel like I am joining them," Nardwuar told The FADER. "I'm going to play everything — ranging from Jay-Z to Michael Gorbachev."

The anniversary radio show will air September 21 at 9 p.m. PST. He will also be celebrating with his band The Evaporators at a show on September 23.
