A$AP Rocky Says His Next Solo Album Will Drop Later This Year

The rapper is prepping the follow up to 2015’s At. Long. Last. A$AP.

A$AP Mob recently rounded off a busy month of releases with their collaborative Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy mixtape. However, the new music has not stopped for the year according to A$AP Rocky.

Speaking to Complex in a new interview, Rocky was quizzed on when his third solo album will be released. "A.S.A.P. It's about to drop," he said. Asked if that meant in 2017, he added: "Yeah, for sure. For sure."

A$AP Rocky released his debut album Long. Live. A$AP. in 2013 before following it up two years later with At. Long. Last. A$AP. On the subject of that 2015 album, he told Complex that album's psychedelic sound was ahead of its time. "That was abnormal then, but in the near future, now in the present [even], it's going to be normal, trust me."

This month A$AP Twelvyy also debuted his first album 12 , and A$AP Ferg released his mixtape Still Striving. The group was also faced with news surrounding a troubling video of A$AP Bari which surfaced in July.
