"Who are you and who you with?" sings Miink in a delicate falsetto. It's the haunting refrain of the west London artist's debut single, a track that comes on like FKA twigs covering Usher's "Climax." Filled with low-end bass wobbles and sparse percussion, "Who Are You?" introduces an artist that you immediately want to know more about.

He's keeping the specifics under wraps for now, but Miink wrote and produced the song himself as well as directing its video. Shot in a claustrophobic elevator, the 23-year-old Londoner is joined by a hooded companion in a simple video premiering on The FADER above.

Speaking about the track via email, he says: "'Who Are You?’ is about territorial behavior and the reaction you get as an outsider crossing into an unfamiliar place. You are always easily identifiable to those from within, and more often than not, met unfavorably. "
