Saturday Night Live and Saoirse Ronan address sexual assault in “Welcome To Hell”

In candy colored dresses and fluffy accessories, the women of Saturday Night Live, along with Saoirse Ronan, welcomed the world to hell. Specifically, the truth regarding sexual assault and its pervasiveness in society.

"Now House of Cards is ruined, and that really sucks," sings Ronan. "But here's a list of stuff that's ruined for us."

They then list everything from parking to walking to taking an Uber. Leslie Jones also points out during the sketch that women of color face sexual assault and harassment at much higher rates. You can watch the full sketch above.
