On Thursday, Baltimore sing-rappers Creek Boyz — Turk P. Diddy, ETS Breeze, J Reezy, and Fedi Mula — shared two new songs, "Loco" and "Trap Digits," and announced the group's debut mixtape: 1:11, dropping on March 2. Listen to them both below via Noisey. ETS Breeze told the site that "Trap Digits" is "a street joint... for the clubs," and "Loco" strikes that balance as well.
"Loco" and "Trap Digits" follow "With My Team," a song that was one of The FADER's best of 2017. D Boi addressed the controversy over a change in the song's hook – from “Too many niggas dyin’” to “Can’t nobody stop our shine" – when it was uploaded to streaming services. "[W]e wanted to touch the masses. We knew that if we changed the hook that it would get to more people versus just being Baltimore and being stigmatized."
Creek Boyz's 1:11 mixtape is out March 2.
