Today, Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh Spice) reunited with all five original members of the Spice Girls in an Instagram photo. The pop group, which went on hiatus in 2000 before reuniting for a world tour in 2007, appears to have something in the works: in a statement obtained by ABC's Josua Hoyos, the group announced that the members are working together again. "The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together," it reads.

The statement did not specify what the group is working on, or if there's new music forthcoming. Sky News has reported that the group is "reportedly considering TV projects in China, a new television talent show, endorsement deals and a compilation album celebrating their greatest hits."

Concluding, the Spice Girls emphasized one of the band's core tenants: girl power. "We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

The Spice Girls – Mel "Scary" B, Victoria "Posh" Beckham, Emma "Baby" Bunton, Mel "Sporty" C, and Geri "Ginger" Halliwell – formed in 1994 and went on to sell 85 million albums worldwide.
