Diddy finally explained the #DiddyCrop

Ellen heard the secrets behind his infamous Instagram resizings.

During his pre-Grammys party, Diddy posted a photo of Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, and Nas on his social media feeds with the caption "3 Kings! 3 GREAT FRIENDS! Love you guys. #BlackGreatness." However, it soon became evident that the photograph had been altered to edit out French Montana and Fabolous. This was just the latest example of Diddy removing celebrities from photos for unknown reasons, an effect that became known on social media as the "#DiddyCrop."

Today on Ellen, Diddy finally explained what's going on. "Sometimes my photography editor, he doesn't let me know when he's taking people out of the pictures," he said. Apparently, there's also a difference between a DiddyCrop – which just adjusts the image, like the infamous Jenner picture – and a DiddyShop, or Photoshop, which French Montana's pic falls under.

"There were people that were taken away that didn't deserve to be taken away," Diddy says, before revealing that some of the people in the latest DiddyCrop haven't spoken to him in two weeks. Watch the full interview above.
