Lil Uzi Vert didn’t show up to a New Orleans performance

According to Billboard and promoters of Buku Festival in New Orleans, Lil Uzi Vert did not show up to a scheduled performance. Lil Uzi had a one hour set scheduled from 8:00 - 9:00 pm, but according to promoters, Uzi never left Philadelphia.

A projected image that took place of Lil Uzi on the stage, said that he "decided not to come at the last minute" and as to his motivation for not showing up, the sign said "there is no reason." The full announcement contained multiple spelling errors, which can be seen below.

A representative for Lil Uzi Vert did not immediately respond to request for comment.
