Poo Bear has announced the official release of his debut album, Poo Bear Presents Bearthday Music. The album will feature collaborations with Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Juanes, J Balvin, Skrillex, and more. The first single, "Hard To Face Reality," features Bieber, and will be out April 6, the same date that the album will be available for pre-sale.
"Hard To Face Reality," previously styled "Hard 2 Face Reality," was announced in February as also featuring Jay Electronica, but it's unclear whether that version of that song will appear on the album.
Poo Bear has written music across genres for two decades, working Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Patti LaBelle, Sam Smith, and DJ Khaled, among others. He's most well-known for his frequent collaborations with Justin Bieber, with whom he worked on the remix of "Despacito." "Will I See You," the first single from Poo Bear Presents Bearthday Music, features Brazilian singer Anitta and came out in September. Listen below.
