Republic Records has confirmed Charlie Walk has left his position as President amid a series of sexual harassment allegations. A representative told The Hollywood Reporter the label and Walk had “mutually agreed to part ways.”
The decision comes after Walk was placed on leave in January when former Republic Records intern Tristan Coopersmith accused the music exec of misconduct in an open letter. She alleged that Walk made lewd, sexual comments to her and also that he once "cornered her" at a party.
Two more women subsequently came forward with further allegations of sexual misconduct, saying Walk had created a “culture of misogyny” at Republic.
Walk, who denies all of the allegations, stepped down from his role as a judge on Fox's music talent show The Four at the same time he was placed on leave at Republic.
