It’s the most streamed video in YouTube’s history.

April 05, 2018

Luis Fonsi's "Despacito" has now hit 5 billion view on YouTube, the first video in the platform's history to reach that marker, Variety reports. The last song with the highest number of views on YouTube was Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's "See You Again," which currently has just under 3.5 billion views. Before that song's ranking climbed in 2017, Psy's "Gangnam Style" held the top spot; it currently has just over 3.1 billion views.
