Katori Walker examines his trauma in his new “Ignorance” video

The Pasadena rapper provides visuals for three painful songs from his recently released EP.

Katori Walker is a promising young rapper from Pasadena, California, who gained traction last year with the release of his video for "Ormoni," a brutal examination of his brother's murder. Walker has combined that video with visuals for two other songs from his recent Ignorance EP, telling a harrowing story of gang violence and trauma.

In the five-minute video, which premieres on The FADER today, Walker plays the role of his brother while narrating from a third person perspective, alternating between sparse production that lets his words breathe and soil-based G-funk that brings his neighborhood to life.
