It's been just a year since Dirty Projectors released their self-titled album, the first since 2012's Swing Lo Magellan. The wait won't be nearly as long this time around, as the band's next record, titled Lamp Lit Prose, will be released on July 13 via Domino. They've brought on a number of collaborators for the project, including Haim, Syd, Rostam, Empress Of, and Robin Pecknold (of Fleet Foxes).
In anticipation, the band has shared a very avian video for their bright and bouncy new single "Break-Thru." The song sounds like a renovated Dirty Projectors classic, with a coquettish riff from Dave Longstreth and lyrical shoutouts to Federico Fellini and Julian Casablancas. Watch the colorful Sean Pecknold-directed clip below.
