Alex Zhang Hungtai (ex-Dirty Beaches) announces new album on NON Records

Alex Zhang Hungtai has kept busy since ending his Dirty Beaches projects, with solo work like Knave Of Hearts and his tunes as Last Lizard, as well as music in the band Love Theme. He's got another solo LP coming this summer: Divine Weight, dropping June 29 on NON Records. The announcement comes with a music video for new song "Pierrot," directed by Kevin Luna and Brian Echon. The subtly devastating drones of "Pierrot" are balanced with the surreal visuals starring Hungtai, an adorable child, and a cheerful clown. Watch it above and pre-order Divine Weight here.
