Holy shit, this “acoustic remix” of Charli XCX’s “Lucky”

The original track’s co-producer, Ö, somehow freaked it even more.

I mean, I don't know if it "acoustic" is the right word for it, but this thing is incredible. Ö, the Montreal producer who co-produced the original "Lucky," from Pop 2, with A. G. Cook, has stripped the track down into a pseudo-barber shop godsend, comprised only of layered vocals. Angelic! Should be big in Germany.

In an interview last year with Owen Myers, Charli said: "For me, now, Auto-Tune is a necessity. I record with it all the time, and I basically have done for the last three years solid. I feel very insecure singing without it. I feel nervous and really panicked. It allows me to be way more fearless when I’m in the studio, because I hate the sound of my own voice without it." Sounds so g.d. good here. What the hell.
