Listen to Taylor Bennett’s Be Yourself EP

Taylor Bennett is finally here with his new EP, Be Yourself. The Chicago rapper, and younger brother of Chance The Rapper, opens the 6-track project with the pretty powerful title track, a mission statement about being bi, black, and making it in the rap world.

Bennett told Time earlier this year about recording with Thug, describing the studio environment as "[a] carefree community, which I don’t feel really exists for African Americans." Their collaboration "Better Than You Ever Been," is the highlight of the tape and has Bennett sounding lighter on the beat than he ever has before.
