Watch Cardi B open the VMAs

Tonight, Cardi B opened the 35th annual MTV Video Music Awards with a baby-sized bundle. She later unwrapped the blanket to reveal, not Kulture, but a Moon Person. Although she didn't perform, she did introduce Shawn Mendes' performance. Watch her brief monologue below.

It marks Cardi B's first award show appearance since giving birth to Kulture back in July. In April, she performed "La Modelo" with Ozuna at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Earlier today, she dropped the video for her Invasion of Privacy single "Ring" with Kehlani.
